I’m reliably informed the ship is in the Panama Canal! Getting closer by the day.

Seems the bike is nearing Canada. But then it has to go down to the Panama Canal and round to San Francisco. Plenty of miles to travel yet!

At the end of April all of us who are going to America took the bikes to a depot in the Midlands where they would be loaded onto a container – mine’s the yellow one in the foreground.

So, my bike is now on the high seas heading towards California.

Yesterday I built the site on the server. During the next week or so I’ll get it to look right and start posting some content. Essentially it’s going to be a blog, with pictures, of my motorcycling holiday in America – a month riding from California to Alaska and back between mid June 2012 and mid July. More soon.
